Anthozoa 1 and 2 are embroidered paper artworks that have been included in the IAPMA 2021 Coral Jubilee Origins and Destinations Exhibition taking place in Burnie, Tasmania.
The paper has been coloured with madder and tea, embroidered and beaded. It is inspired by coral reefs and the fragility of the structures and our natural world.
The exhibition will move on to China to be exhibited at the The 2021 Shanghai International Paper Art Biennale. Unfortunately it won't be possible to visit this year. Hopefully there may be another chance in the future.
